Training Manager ( Human Resources) - Sea Island

Preferred Education & Qualifications

  • Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro) and multi-media interactive authoring software such as Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate strongly preferred.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and have an ability/desire to learn new software, as needed.
  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems required.
  • Detail-oriented with superb organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated, hard-working, ability to balance multiple tasks and dependable.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 2+ years in designing and developing learning programs in the restaurant, retail or lodging industries a plus.
  • 2+ years of previous relevant experience preferred: customer interaction, training, client services, program development, technical writing, etc. 
  • Ability to travel periodically.
  • Job Responsibilities & Overview

  • Ability to develop key training modules to team members in a fun and engaging way.
  • Design and develop eLearning/SCORM courses and publish content to the learning management system.
  • Translate operational rollouts and procedures into compelling and effective training courses including written content, video, instructor lead training and eLearning.
  • Demonstrate creativity, and innovation in digital materials, instructor lead and eLearning course design.
  • Supports all training department projects and initiatives, including job aides, operations manuals, operations procedures, trainee workbooks, trainer workbooks, etc.
  • Serve as author and producer to training video shoots (as needed)
  • Facilitate training classes, webinars, virtual classrooms and working sessions (as needed)
  • Ensure all internal/external stakeholders receive appropriate communications and communicate effectively throughout the company infrastructure.
  • Ensure all communications and training materials are accurate, timely and complete.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement.
  • Responsible for maintaining all aspects of training records, course evaluations and reporting in a timely and accurate manger.
