Our client is a leading digital agency that provide tailored solutions, digital medical education and omni-channel engagement for the medical and pharmaceutical industries. This fun and dynamic team are looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager to join their successful team and hit the ground running.Senior Account Manager - Job OverviewAs Senior Account Manager your duties will include;

  • Oversee and lead day-to-day activities on numerous accounts including managing the project team and client liaison
  • Create project schedules, timelines, and briefing documents for the internal teams
  • Handle logistical aspects of workload, develop, and adhere to timelines with the support of the senior members of your team
  • Build solid relationships with clients to support client account expansion
  • Working with Head of Operations/Account Managers to keep within agreed budgets
  • Drive both internal and external meetings with relevant team members and client status meetings
  • Support the preparation and management of the relevant project details on finance and project management systems ensuring client billing ensuring profitability
  • Line manage Account Managers, Account Executives and Project Assistants and support with their day-to-day work and provide guidance to improve quality, client liaison and business building
  • Support the Commercial Team in pitch development and identifying new business leads
  • Help the company identify innovative approaches to customer challenges
  • Work with internal departments and individuals across the organisation including finance, marketing, digital and production
  • Keep up to date of news, trends, and developments within the industry
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of ABPI codes, MHRA and other regulatory bodies that impact on client projects
  • Become a champion for the client's brand, developing knowledge of strategic direction and the challenges that may be faced
  • Monitor and manage weekly billing of activity against projects and proposed budgetary estimates
  • Attend monthly finance meetings with the Finance Director and Commercial team to ensure the accounts budget control ensuring profitability and minimal over servicing

Senior Account Manager - Skills & Experience Required

  • At least 3 years experience working within the role of Account Manager within the pharmaceutical or comparable industry
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Evidence responsibility for line management of team members
  • Demonstrate a wider business profile of being approachable, dependable, and consistent
  • Be highly efficient and organised with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Have meticulous high attention to detail, ensuring quality outputs are delivered to our clients
  • Demonstrate analytical & project management skills
  • Be able to work under pressure with maturity and judgement
  • Ability to multitask on multiple accounts
  • Present a logical, common-sense approach when faced with new situations/projects
  • Financial awareness and management skills
  • Be able to learn new systems quickly
  • Work effectively as a team player within the organisation

Senior Account Manager - Benefits Offered

  • £38,000 - £48,000 per annum DOE
  • Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm (Potential flexibility in start and finish times around core office hours)
  • 25 days holiday (including bank holidays)
