The Nurse Manager of Progressive Care Telemetry Unit will be responsible for the twenty-four hour planning, organizing, directing and controlling of the daily operations and clinical practice of the Telemetry department. The Nurse Manager of Step Down Telemetry Unit will report directly to the Senior Director of Critical Care and Emergency Department and will be supported by Nurse Supervisors, Charge Nurses and 65 FTEs.
The Nurse Manager of Progressive Care Telemetry Unit will manage a 28 bed department and the team in order to provide quality individualized patient care to patients ranging from neonate to geriatric on the age continuum and support of the Medical Center's Mission, Strategic Plan, and Goals and Objectives.
The Nurse Manager of Progressive Care Telemetry Unit will assume fiscal responsibility for the unit budgets, serves as a liaison with medical staff and other personnel, promotes the maximum growth and development of each employee, supports nursing research and assures patient advocacy.
