HR Advisor Full time - Permanent contract Based in Hull Supportive team and development offered. My client, a leading local industrial company are looking to grow their HR function due to exceptional growth across the business. They are looking to add to their existing HR team and appoint a HR Advisor. The role will be Hull based. The successful HR Advisor will be working as part of a solution focused and collaborative HR team to provide comprehensive, positive, pragmatic HR advice, support & responsibilities to all employees. The business has grown rapidly and the HR Advisor will be responsible for supporting the businesses by developing effective working relationships and employee engagement. The HR Advisor will work effectively and positively with employees, promoting understanding, compliance and consistency. Key duties: Support Line Managers, offering advice and solutions on employment matters. Managing absence management on-site Assist with the welfare of all employees on site Ensure effective coordination of employment relations cases, including document management Ensure that all documentation is complete, checked and saved on the HR and training systems Maintain employee databases and compile daily / weekly / monthly KPIs Schedule employment reviews and complete associated documentation Monitor maternity, paternity, parental and adoptive leave ensuring that all notification requirements are received and entitlement confirmed in line with legal requirements Collect information for internal and external audits Challenge current processes and practices, with a view to improve Maintain knowledge of relevant legislation, internal company policies and procedures and codes of practice HR administrative and project responsibilities including updating of records, note-taking, report writing and attendance at appropriate meetings. Positively present the role of HR Advisor & complete required training and continuing professional development activities to meet job role and business requirements and personal competency.If You Have Experience In Delivering HR support and guidance at all business levels - in person, remotely, by email/phone- Ideally within 24/7 process or industrial environment. Delivering varied HR projects, goals and targets. Experience of Competency systems and processes both technical and behaviours Developing, advising and providing support on HR policies, procedures and systems, attendance, grievance, disciplinary, employee relations, engagement, performance, training and development. Recruitment and selection end to end process. Succession and people planning and talent management. Developing and maintaining effective workplace relationships at all business levels.
