Our team in Owatonna, MN is seeking an Epicor ERP Software Engineer who will be responsible for architecture, design, and development of software to include requirements analysis, software design, coding, software integration, testing, debug, and maintenance. This position will partner with business analysts, architects, and developers to solve complex problems and deliver quality enterprise solutions in a culture of performance collaboration and commitment to excellence.
At a minimum you'll need:
Undergraduate degree in Information Technology/Computer or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of three (3) years demonstrated experience in full software development life cycle
Minimum of three (3) years demonstrated experience with Visual Studio, C#, SQL, Web APIs, .Net, HTML/CSS
Expertise in ERP manufacturing systems. Epicor ERP 10 and Kinetic
Experience working in a developer capacity in Epicor ERP (Customizations, BPMs, BAQs, Dashboards, Functions, Application Studio, REST toolkit)
Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies quickly as needed
Proven experience and passion for solving problems and providing workable solutions
Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to quality

Giving primary consideration to feasibility, maintainability, security, integration, performance, capacity needs, business continuity, business needs, cost/benefit, positive/negative impact on existing applications, and strategic direction
As an IT Systems Software Engineer a typical day might include:
Applying full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to deliver solutions
Coding software to adhere to designs supporting the business requirement
Evaluating existing systems and applications identifying opportunities for improvement - common patterns, process efficiency, system integrity, security and data quality including recommending standards and best practices and peer review of code changes.
Understanding and growing your knowledge of business, applications, and technologies
Documenting systems or applications as a reference for future upgrades and maintenance
Helping team members fully utilize tools and understand the business
Utilizing strong analytical and reasoning skills to visualize processes and outcomes
Managing assigned tasks to scope, budget, and timeline
