We allow individuals to work in consultancy with the freedom to deliver results outside of rigorous processes. Our Management team are passionate about enabling each team member to shape their working environment in the way that provides them with the most support/work life balance. We operate on the principle that engagement and happiness is the key to productivity.

The Role

This role will largely involve designing and developing data models, both cloud and on prem. Using techniques such as Kimball, 3NF or Data Vault 2.0 to build foundational, reusable data assets.

Other elements include:

  • writing clean, effective and reusable code
  • data analysis- assessing the suitability of existing and potential new data for use

  • being a point of contact with stakeholders, often presenting back to them

About you

You will have:

  • ample experience designing and developing data models, star schemas, dimension and fact tables and slowly changing dimensions
  • hands on experience of a BI transformation (on prem to AWS, GCP or Snowflake)
  • excellent technical knowledge of SQL and relational databases
  • business analysis and requirements gathering skills, including the ability to interpret and align multiple stakeholders' requirements
  • natural problem solving skills, with the drive to follow issues through to resolution
  • clear and effective communication skills, both written and orally
  • proven experience working with large, complex datasets

What's in it for you?

We offer a generous bonus and a great benefits package, similar to other companies. But that isn't what makes us special, this is:

  • Care: your mental and physical health is our priority. We ensure comprehensive company-paid medical insurance, Mental Health programs and a team of in house Mental Health first-aiders, as well as financial consultations
  • Tailored education path: boost your skills and knowledge with our knowledge sharing sessions, mentoring and company-paid certifications.
  • Flexibility: We offer hybrid working and flexible and sensible working hours
  • Freedom: we allow our consultants to actually be consultants, not just bodies. You are given responsibility and the accountability to really own problems. There are no glass ceilings here, we don't have salary or promotion review dates. We reward people as and when we see good work
  • Exposure: generally you will work across 2-3 clients in various industries and there are always opportunities to get involved, learn new skills, apply new technologies and gain new perspectives
  • Welcoming environment: feel empowered with a friendly, diverse and inclusive, close-knit team. Here we have an open-door policy and an informal and relaxed atmosphere, where everybody has a voice.
